This site contains information about four main families, MARQUIS, SKERRETT, 
MILLIGAN, and LYSACK (LYSAK) and by marriages, connections to many others.  
Between 1907 and 1926 they immigrated to Canada from England, Scotland and 
Galicia (Ukraine) with the same idea - to make a better life in Canada.  They  
settled in Ontario and Manitoba. In 1965 with the help of Bill Thompson I 
began a "simple" task of collecting information about my relatives in England. 
Since 2005 there has been exponential growth in the data collected.  MANY people 
contributed information that has been compiled. To allow those and other 
family members to see the results, I created this web site. The task is not 
and probably will not ever be finished as new members are added through birth, 
marriage and new searches. Hopefully it will be continued by interested 
family members.  I am responsible for and will correct any errors that are 
found. Connections exist that join the past relations to the present, and 
family around the world.  Please enjoy your trip through my family, and sign
